The President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Sunday, the Hungarian Ambassador to Iraq, Attila Tarr, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, according to a presidential statement, the President stressed the importance of developing bilateral relations and expanding joint cooperation between the two countries to serve common interests, stressing the need for coordination on issues of mutual interest to consolidate international peace and security. He also stressed the importance of benefiting from expertise and experience, especially in the agriculture sector, water resources management, tourism, antiquities and arts fields. For his part, Ambassador Attila Tarr stated his country's aspiration to strengthen relations with Iraq, develop cooperation, and support its security and stability and its return to take on its important vital role in the region.
