The Minister of Interior, "Abdul Amir Al-Shammari", met a high-level French delegation headed by the Middle East official at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of the French Ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevalier.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that the Minister discussed with the French delegation a number of issues of common concern and ways to strengthen the bonds of relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, they also discussed intensifying coordination to serve common interests, emphasizing the relations that bind Iraq with France, and ensuring cooperation in various fields, especially security.
