The Artistic Community mourned the distinguished Iraqi Composer 'Kawkab Hamza' who passed away last night, Tuesday, following an emergency health problem in a hospital in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, which he entered to receive medical treatment the day before Monday. Kawkab Hamza is an Iraqi Composer, born in Babylon in 1944 from a Faili Kurdish family. He has been known since the 1970s and composed many famous songs, such as (Oh Star, Far Qantara, and Oh Flying Birds) with the voice of the great singer Saadoun Jaber.
