Switzerland: Switzerland expressed deep concern following the Israeli Knesset's approval of a death penalty law against Palestinian prisoners.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in a post on X, the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs stated, "Switzerland is deeply concerned by the adoption of Israel's Death Penalty Bill." The department elaborated on its stance by emphasizing that they have already addressed the issue with Israeli authorities. They are urging Israel to revoke the law, restore the long-standing moratorium, and uphold their obligations under international Human Rights law.
