Ljubljana: Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon stated that every day the world is losing nearly a classroom of students in Gaza due to ongoing bombardment and deliberate starvation. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in a press statement, Fajon affirmed that life-saving aid is being deliberately blocked in Gaza, and entire families are being wiped out before the eyes of the world. She emphasized that peace requires justice, which is why Slovenia has imposed sanctions on Israeli ministers and banned arms trade with them. Fajon recalled that Slovenia has already recognized the state of Palestine and will advocate for broader international recognition during the UN General Assembly. She added that Slovenia is also considering joining South Africa's case against Israel before the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
