Post: Slight Drop in Temperatures Expected Tuesday, Gradual Rise Through Week

Ramallah: The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted a slight drop in temperatures on Tuesday, with the weather expected to be hot in the mountainous areas and very hot across the rest of the country. Winds will vary from southwesterly to northwesterly, ranging from light to moderate, and will become active at times. Sea waves are anticipated to be light to moderate. According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the PMD has indicated that during the evening and nighttime hours, the weather will transition to partly cloudy to clear conditions. It will be relatively pleasant in the mountainous regions and warm in other areas, with northwesterly winds that will remain moderate but become active intermittently. Sea waves are expected to maintain a moderate level. The PMD's forecast for Wednesday suggests that hot weather will persist in the mountainous regions, with very hot conditions continuing elsewhere, as temperatures remain stable. However, a rise in temperatures is anticipated on Thursday, with another increase expected on Friday. This will result in hot conditions in the mountainous areas and very hot conditions prevailing in other parts of the country. The PMD has issued a warning to the public to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak hours from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additionally, citizens are urged to refrain from lighting fires in areas with abundant dry vegetation to mitigate the risk of wildfires.
