Gaza: Six Palestinians were killed and several others wounded on Saturday evening in an Israeli drone strike targeting a caf© west of Al-Zawaida town in central Gaza, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, earlier in the day, at least eight people, including children, were killed and others injured when Israeli forces bombed a gathering of civilians in the Nuseirat refugee camp, also in central Gaza. Israeli airstrikes have continued to cause devastation, including a strike on a water desalination plant near the Bank of Palestine in Gaza City’s Al-Rimal neighborhood, resulting in additional casualties.
In southern Gaza, Israeli forces have demolished several residential buildings in the vicinity of Al-Katiba and Al-Mahatta areas north of Khan Younis. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has resulted in at least 57,338 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 135,957 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to the Israeli attacks.
Israel’s attacks continue despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
