Gaza city: Six Palestinians, including a girl, were killed and four others injured late last night after Israeli warplanes bombed the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli forces also carried out intensive artillery shelling and opened fire toward the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, while continuing to target open areas, residential outskirts, and shelters.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli naval boats opened gunfire off the coast of Khan Younis, threatening the lives of fishermen and displaced people in the area. No immediate injuries were reported. The attacks extended to the eastern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, where Israeli warplanes also opened fire.
With the killing of the six Palestinians, the total number of people killed since the start of the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, has risen to 698, while more than 18,100 others have been injured. In addition, 756 bodies have been recovered during the same period.
