Post: Six Palestinians Injured in Israeli Colonists’ Attack South of Hebron

Yatta: Six Palestinians were injured on Monday after Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian homes and lands in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron. According to Palestine News and Information Agency, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra reported that approximately 30 armed Israeli colonists, with the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked residents' homes in the village of Umm al-Khair in Masafer Yatta. The assault occurred after the army closed the village's main entrance. The attackers physically assaulted local residents, resulting in six Palestinians sustaining injuries and bruises. All individuals received treatment on-site. Makhamra indicated that one of the homes targeted belongs to Salem al-Hathaleen. Israeli occupation forces declared the area around this house a closed military zone for two days, hindering family members from accessing sanitation facilities and the livestock pen, which left the animals without food. He further mentioned that the colonists damaged fencing surroundi ng agricultural land and cut electricity lines supplying the home of Ayoub al-Masri in the Khallet al-Hummus area, south of Yatta.
