Gaza city: Several Palestinian civilians were killed and dozens wounded on Tuesday evening in Israeli shelling targeting various areas in the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, six people were killed and several others were injured, including critically, after Israeli shelling targeted aid workers in the northern Gaza Strip. In a separate incident, five more civilians were killed and others were injured following Israeli airstrikes near the Andalusia Tower, northwest of Gaza City.
An additional airstrike on the Armida area of Bani Suhaila town, east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, resulted in the killing of one Palestinian. The ongoing offensive also saw the Israeli military demolish multiple buildings in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza and renew artillery shelling on eastern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Medical sources announced that 31 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli gunfire since dawn today, including 14 aid seekers. Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 61,020 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, with nearly 150,671 reported wounded.
Hundreds of victims remain trapped under rubble or in areas unreachable by emergency responders due to continued bombardment and limited resources.
