Madama: Seven Palestinians were injured on Saturday by live ammunition and physical assault during an attack by Israeli colonists on the village of Madama, south of Nablus.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that its crews received reports of multiple injuries, including a 72-year-old man who was shot in the foot with live ammunition and a 40-year-old man who sustained injuries after being assaulted by colonists. Additionally, a 46-year-old man was wounded by bullet shrapnel to the face, and a 53-year-old man was shot in the thigh.
The Red Crescent also noted that a 43-year-old man and two women, aged 45 and 53, were injured after being assaulted and beaten by colonists. The organization further reported that Israeli occupation forces prevented its crews from reaching the injured.
Rami Nassar, head of Madama Village Council, informed WAFA that the attack was carried out by dozens of Israeli colonists from a newly established colonial outpost built on lands north of the village. These colonists targeted Palestinian shepherds in the area, opening live fire at them.
Nassar added that both Red Crescent crews and local residents faced difficulties in reaching the victims due to the intervention of Israeli occupation forces, which blocked roads leading to the area with earth mounds and iron gates.
