Hammamat al-maleh: Israeli settler militias attacked local Palestinian residents last night in the area of Hammamat al-Maleh in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank. The incident has raised concerns about the ongoing tensions in the region. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Moataz Basharat, who monitors settlement activity in the region, reported that dozens of settlers assaulted local residents. The head of the al-Maleh village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, was injured during the attack, sustaining bruises that required him to be transferred to a medical center for treatment. Basharat further noted that the settlers attacked two vehicles and set fire to uninhabited tents in the area. The attacks have heightened fears among the local Palestinian community and have drawn attention to the need for increased security and protection for residents in the region.
