Belgrade: Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Monday evening announced the halt to the arms sales to Israel, according to the BGNES Information Agency. President Vucic stated that Serbia was halting arms exports to Israel, a decision that he made following a meeting of the extended staff of the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the decision came just one day after a demonstration against arms exports was held in Belgrade, organized by the group 'Support for the People of Palestine - Serbia' and supported by student protesters.
