Qatar Condemns Israel’s Halt on Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation against the decision by the Israeli occupation government to stop the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. This move has been criticized by Qatar as a direct violation of the ceasefire agreement, international humanitarian law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and religious principles.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Sunday expressing Qatar's unequivocal rejection of the use of food as a weapon of war and the deliberate starving of civilians. The ministry called on the international community to take action against Israel and to ensure the secure, continuous, and unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to all regions of Gaza.

Additionally, the statement from the ministry emphasized Qatar's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the rightful claims of the Palestinian people. This includes their aspiration to establish an independent state based on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem recognized as its capital.
