Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation following the Israeli National Security Minister's storming of Al Aqsa Mosque, an act carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation police. Qatar has labeled this action as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a direct provocation to Muslims worldwide.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar has firmly rejected any attempts to undermine the religious and historical significance of Al Aqsa Mosque. The Ministry emphasized the crucial role of the international community in maintaining its moral and legal obligations concerning Jerusalem and its sacred sites, urging a resolute stance against repeated Israeli transgressions.
In a statement, the Ministry reaffirmed Qatar's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. This includes their unrestricted right to practice religious rituals and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
