Cairo: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa is set to begin an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt on Sunday.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, during his visit, Mustafa is scheduled to meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty at the Cabinet headquarters in New Alamein City.
The meeting will focus on the latest developments concerning the humanitarian and medical conditions in the Gaza Strip. Discussions will also cover Egypt's efforts to achieve a ceasefire and ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip.
Mustafa and Abdelatty are expected to hold a joint press conference at the Rafah border crossing next Monday. This will follow an inspection of the crossing area and the warehouses designated for storing humanitarian and relief aid destined for the Gaza Strip.
The visit will also include a tour of the field hospital operating in the area.
