Prime Minister Engages with European Council on Palestinian Issues

Ramallah: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa engaged in discussions with a European Council delegation, headed by Member of Parliament Dora Bakoyannis, in his office in Ramallah. The meeting focused on recent developments and the ongoing situation in Palestine.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Prime Minister highlighted the need to solidify the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, ensure the entry of aid, and boost emergency relief and recovery efforts. He emphasized that these steps are essential for paving the way toward comprehensive reconstruction in the region.

Mustafa reiterated that any resolution concerning Gaza must align with the two-state solution, ensuring full jurisdiction of the State of Palestine over the Strip and honoring the Palestinian people's right to self-determination in their independent state.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister also reviewed ongoing developments in the West Bank. He underscored the persistent attacks by Israeli forces, daily incursions into Palestinian areas, colonist attacks on Palestinian villages and towns, the occupation of refugee camps in the northern West Bank, and the continued withholding of Palestinian tax revenues.
