Prime Minister Contacts Qabatiya Mayor Amid Israeli Incursion Aftermath

Qabatiya: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa made a phone call to Qabatiya Mayor Ahmad Zakarneh to assess the situation in the town following a two-day wide-scale Israeli offensive. The town, located south of Jenin, experienced significant disruption due to the incursion.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, during the call, the prime minister instructed relevant government institutions, departments, and emergency committees to respond promptly to the aftermath of the assault. He emphasized the need to mobilize all available resources to address the damage to infrastructure and private property. The prime minister also prioritized the restoration of public services, focusing on the resumption of regular school education in Qabatiya.

The offensive began on Friday evening, with Israeli forces imposing a tight siege on the town. This included a large-scale detention campaign, forced displacement of dozens of residents, seizure of homes, and widespread destruction of infrastructure.
