Moscow: President Mahmoud Abbas took part in an official state dinner this evening hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, in honor of the world leaders and delegations participating in the 80th anniversary celebrations of the victory over Nazism.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, President Abbas’s participation comes as part of his official visit to Russia at the invitation of President Putin. During the visit, he is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with the Russian President, as well as engage with several other leaders and heads of state attending the commemoration events.
