President Abbas Reconstitutes Board of Palestine Monetary Authority

Ramallah: President Mahmoud Abbas has issued a presidential decree reconstituting the Board of Directors of the Palestine Monetary Authority. This decision was made following a recommendation from the Cabinet and the Governor of the Palestine Monetary Authority.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the decree outlines the composition of the new Board of Directors. The board will include the Governor of the Palestine Monetary Authority as the Chairman, a position held by virtue of law. Additionally, the Deputy Governor of the Palestine Monetary Authority will serve as a member, also by virtue of law.

The board will also feature Mr. Majdi Al-Hassan, representing the Ministry of Finance, as a member by virtue of law. Other members appointed to the board include Mr. Ismail Abdel-Karim Salim Hussein, Mr. Ibrahim Muhammad Awad, Mr. Naseem Bishara Nour, Mr. Alaa Salim Musa Sissalem, and Mr. Zaher Al-Hamouz.
