Ramallah: President Mahmoud Abbas received the 2025 annual report of the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission on Saturday during a meeting with the commission's head, Raed Radwan.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Radwan stated that the report included the referral of 41 cases to the public prosecutor over suspected corruption. The commission continues its efforts to strengthen governance within Palestinian institutions and implement preventive measures aimed at reducing the risk of corruption.
President Abbas reaffirmed his full support for the commission and its staff, praising their role in safeguarding public funds and promoting the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability. He stressed the importance of entrenching transparency and integrity across Palestinian public institutions, emphasizing that all individuals are equal before the law and that no one is above the law.
