Doha: President Mahmoud Abbas met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, convened to discuss the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar. During the meeting, President Abbas reviewed the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, including efforts to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, accelerate the entry of humanitarian aid, ensure the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Strip, and end attacks by Israeli forces and extremist colonists in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, they also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and explored ways to further strengthen and expand cooperation in all fields.
