Oslo: President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Oslo on Tuesday for a two-day official visit, during which he is scheduled to meet with the King of Norway, the Prime Minister, and the Speaker of Parliament.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the visit aims to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and their peoples, and to discuss the latest developments in Palestine and the region.
President Abbas is accompanied by PLO Executive Committee member Ziad Abu Amro, presidential diplomatic adviser Majdi Al-Khaldi, and Palestine's ambassador to Norway, Marie Antoinette Sedin.
