Ramallah: The Presidency on Monday evening welcomed the efforts made by the US and Arab mediators to halt the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. President Mahmoud Abbas expressed appreciation for the diplomatic initiatives aimed at ending the ongoing conflict.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, President Abbas specifically commended US President Donald Trump for his role in seeking to bring an end to the conflict that has persisted for two years. The Presidency views these efforts as a positive step towards achieving peace in the region.
