Presidency Condemns Israel for Jenin Camp Incident Resulting in Six Palestinian Deaths

Ramallah: The Palestinian presidency has strongly condemned the actions of Israeli occupation forces in the Jenin camp, which resulted in the deaths of six Palestinians. The presidency described the incident as a crime and expressed its complete rejection of the actions taken by the forces.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the presidency criticized the incident as an unacceptable move, accusing it of aiming to provoke internal unrest among Palestinians. The statement highlighted that the security forces were pursuing individuals considered outlaws, thereby exposing the occupation forces' role in fostering chaos and anarchy. This, the presidency asserted, aligns with the objectives of external supporters of those outside the law, who are allegedly attempting to disrupt security and create a situation that allows the occupation to justify its actions to the international community.

The presidency also warned about the potential dangers of Israeli plans that aim to hinder national efforts to protect Palestinians from aggression, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, the presidency reiterated President Mahmoud Abbas's support for the security services' efforts in upholding the rule of law and ensuring the safety and security of Palestinian citizens. The presidency emphasized the importance of preventing internal disruption to achieve security and stability, which are crucial for the liberation and independence of the Palestinian people and the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
