Pregnant Palestinian Woman Injured in Assault by Israeli Colonists in Masafer Yatta

Masafer Yatta: A pregnant Palestinian woman was injured on Friday after being assaulted by Israeli colonists in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams treated a 37-year-old woman who suffered bruises as a result of the attack. She was subsequently transferred to the hospital for further care.

Masafer Yatta, a cluster of rural communities located in the southernmost area of the occupied West Bank, has faced increasing colonist violence and displacement efforts amid ongoing attempts by Israeli authorities to seize the area.
