Ramallah: The CCI for residential buildings reached 121.72, marking a 0.09% decrease compared to February 2025, with the base year set as 2013=100.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the report highlights changes across major groups, noting a 0.13% decrease in equipment rental prices, a slight 0.06% drop in labor costs and wages, and a 0.03% decrease in raw material prices during the month of March 2025.
The Construction Cost Index for non-residential buildings also saw a decrease. The index reached 120.59, reflecting a 0.10% decline compared to the previous month. Key factors included a 0.14% decrease in equipment rental prices, a minor 0.06% drop in labor costs and wages, and a 0.05% decrease in raw material prices.
Similarly, the Construction Cost Index for skeleton buildings dropped to 120.20, a decrease of 0.10% from February 2025. The report details a 0.13% reduction in equipment rental costs, a 0.08% decrease in raw material prices, and a 0.06% decrease in labor costs and wages.
The Road Cost Index (RCI) also experienced a decline, reaching 115.90, which is a 0.29% decrease from February 2025. This was attributed to a 0.58% decrease in raw material prices, a 0.41% decrease in equipment operating and maintenance costs, a 0.52% increase in labor costs and wages, and a slight 0.01% increase in equipment rental prices.
On the other hand, the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) showed a slight increase, reaching 133.68, which is a 0.09% rise from the previous month. The Water Networks Cost Index itself rose by 0.29%, while the Water Reservoirs Cost Index fell by 0.40%.
The Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank saw a decrease, reaching 118.54, a 0.16% drop compared to February 2025.
