Gaza city: Parts of Al-Shawa and Al-Hasri towers in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, which provide refuge to displaced families, have collapsed amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. The collapse follows artillery shelling targeting eastern Gaza City and an explosion in central Khan Yunis.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that the collapse has inflicted damage on areas where displaced families have sought shelter. This incident is part of a series of continued attacks on civilian locations throughout the region.
In addition to the tower collapses, Israeli artillery has intensified its shelling on eastern Gaza City. An explosion was also reported in central Khan Yunis, further contributing to the unrest and destruction in the area.
These events unfold despite a ceasefire that was announced on October 11. The Gaza Strip continues to be subjected to repeated attacks, affecting residential areas and critical infrastructure, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
