Partly Cloudy Conditions and Temperature Drop Expected in Palestine

Ramallah: The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted a shift in weather conditions, expecting partly cloudy skies and a decrease in temperatures, particularly affecting the mountainous areas. The winds are anticipated to be light to moderate, ranging from westerly to southwesterly, while sea waves will remain low.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the evening and night will continue to witness partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with cold conditions persisting in the mountainous regions. The winds will pick up slightly, maintaining a moderate southwesterly direction, and sea waves are expected to become moderate.

The weather pattern is projected to change on Wednesday, as a low-pressure system moves into the area. This will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with occasional dust and a further drop in temperatures, intensifying the cold in mountainous areas. Scattered showers are forecasted for the northern regions and are expected to extend to the central and southe
rn areas by the evening. These showers could be intense, accompanied by thunderstorms and sporadic hail. Winds will be active, with strong gusts from the southwesterly to westerly directions, and sea waves are expected to be high.

Thursday will see a continuation of the partly cloudy and cold weather, especially in elevated regions. There is a possibility of scattered rain in certain areas, with moderate winds that may become brisk at times, blowing from the southwest to the west, while sea waves will moderate.

By Friday, a noticeable rise in temperatures is anticipated, although the weather will remain relatively cold, particularly in mountainous regions. The forecast predicts partly cloudy skies with light to moderate winds from the west to southwest, and low sea waves.
