The panel tasked with investigating "the incidents" that had happened at the central prison recommended on Thursday that the case be referred to the public prosecution.
The commission had been set up by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and the Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that the commission, established according to the minister's resolution, advised that the case be submitted to the general prosecution.
The minister had dismissed two senior officials that oversee the correction facilities against the backdrop of the prison incidents.
