Bethlehem: A young Palestinian man, 25, was shot by Israeli forces today during a colonists' attack on the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, according to a local official. Salameh Rashaida, deputy head of Kisan Village Council, reported the incident.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a group of colonists, accompanied by Israeli forces, attacked Palestinian residents who were plowing their land in the Wadi Abu Ayyash area. The attackers used sticks, stones, and tractors against the residents.
The situation escalated when Israeli forces fired live rounds after the residents confronted the colonists. During the confrontation, a young man was shot in the leg, requiring his transfer to a hospital for medical treatment.
