Khan younis: A Palestinian woman was announced dead on Saturday after succumbing to injuries sustained in Israeli shelling in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Sabah Odeh Al-Amour died from wounds she sustained several days earlier after being shot by Israeli forces south of Khan Younis.

In a related development, Israeli artillery shelled areas east of Khan Younis city.

Earlier today, medical sources in Gaza reported that the overall death toll from the Israeli offensive has risen to 72,291, with 172,068 people injured since the start of the war in October 2023.
