Palestinian Teenager Killed by Israeli Forces’ Fire in Al-Yamoun

Al-Yamoun: A Palestinian teenager was shot and killed on Wednesday evening by Israeli forces in the town of Al-Yamoun, west of Jenin, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the victim, identified as Rayan Tamer Hoshiyah, 15, was directly targeted by Israeli forces during a military operation in the town. Following the incident, Hoshiyah was urgently transferred to the Al-Yamoun Medical Center, where medical personnel pronounced him dead.

Earlier in the evening, Israeli forces initiated a raid on Al-Yamoun, deploying infantry units throughout the town. The units positioned themselves in the streets and atop buildings, firing live ammunition at local residents. This military activity forms part of ongoing operations in the region.

The death of Hoshiyah marks a grim milestone, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed in the Jenin governorate to 39 since the onset of Israeli military actions in Jenin city and its refugee camp, which began on January 21.
