Palestinian Teen Shot by Israeli Forces in Beita, Ambulance Access Blocked

Beita: A 16-year-old boy was shot by live fire from Israeli forces on Thursday in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, according to local and medical sources. The incident has raised concerns about the escalating tensions in the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces stormed Beita, firing live ammunition and tear gas at residents, resulting in the teenager being hit in the back. Eid Ahmed, director of the Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, reported that Israeli forces prevented ambulances from reaching the injured boy. Soldiers are reportedly still holding the injured boy and obstructing medical teams from providing treatment.

Efforts are currently underway in coordination with the Red Cross to transfer the boy for proper medical care, as reported by the correspondent. The situation remains tense as local authorities and international organizations work to ensure the boy receives the necessary medical attention.
