Post: Palestinian Sustains Injury from Israeli Army Gunfire in Tulkarm

Tulkarm: A Palestinian sustained an injury from Israeli army gunfire in the eastern neighborhood of the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarm, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PCRS).

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, PCRS reported that a young man was injured in the face after being hit by Israeli army gunfire and was subsequently rushed to a hospital. It further added that Israeli occupying forces denied the PRCS crew free movement, holding them along with the casualty in front of the Thabet Thabet Government Hospital.

Meanwhile, a WAFA correspondent noted that additional military reinforcements were dispatched to the city and refugee camp of Tulkarm. During this time, occupation soldiers opened intensive gunfire at every moving person, and military bulldozers continued to plow through infrastructure and public and private properties.

The occupation forces have maintained a massive onslaught on Tulkarm city and the refugee camp for the second consecutive day, imposing a strict siege. This has forced families to leave their houses at gunpoint, with snipers deployed and military bulldozers causing destruction to infrastructure and property.

The soldiers have obstructed the free movement of ambulances and medical crew, detained several individuals, and besieged the local two hospitals. Dozens of elderly, women, children, and people with disabilities have been seen leaving the camp from its various entrances, carrying a small portion of their needs.
