Gaza city: A Palestinian citizen succumbed on Sunday evening to wounds sustained from Israeli forces' gunfire in Gaza City, according to a source at Al-Shifa Hospital.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, earlier in the day, four citizens were killed and others injured due to an Israeli shelling in the Jabalia refugee camp located in the northern Gaza Strip. The ongoing conflict has led to significant casualties and injuries among the population.
Medical sources have reported that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the besieged enclave since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,996. Additionally, 173,246 others have sustained injuries in the ongoing hostilities. The situation remains dire as medical facilities continue to grapple with the overwhelming number of casualties.
