Beirut: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Beirut, Lebanon, on Wednesday evening for a three-day official visit. This marks the first visit by an Arab leader since the election of President Joseph Aoun as President of Lebanon.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, President Abbas was received at the airport by Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji, alongside a number of senior Lebanese officials and the Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ashraf Dabbour. During his visit, President Abbas is scheduled to meet with his Lebanese counterpart, Joseph Aoun, Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and a number of senior Lebanese officials.
