Palestinian Presidency Denounces Israeli Colonists’ Attacks Across West Bank

Ramallah: The Palestinian Presidency condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, highlighting recent attacks by Israeli colonists on the villages of Al-Funduq, Jinsafut, and Amatin in the Qalqilya governorate. These incidents were reportedly accompanied by the Israeli occupation army establishing military checkpoints and iron gates at the entrances to cities and villages, aimed at fragmenting the West Bank.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, the official spokesman for the Presidency, stated that these actions by colonist militias and the occupation army are part of a continuous aggression by the Israeli occupation state. This aggression targets Palestinian sanctities and properties, he emphasized.

Abu Rudeineh further asserted that the far-right Israeli government is attempting to escalate the situation in the West Bank through these actions. He described this as a "silent war" aiming to create a climate of violence and tension. He criticized the decision to lift sanctions on the colonists, arguing it encourages further such crimes.

He urged the new American administration to intervene to halt these crimes and Israeli policies, which he claimed will not bring peace or security. Abu Rudeineh stressed that the path to security and stability lies in implementing international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, aiming to resolve the Palestinian issue and establish a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
