Palestinian Minor Shot During Israeli Forces’ Raid on Qalandia Camp

Qalandia: A Palestinian teenager, aged 17, was injured by Israeli forces' live fire on Sunday evening during an Israeli military raid on Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews responded to the injury of the 17-year-old boy, who was shot in the thigh with live ammunition during the raid, and subsequently transported him to a hospital for treatment.

The Israeli occupation raid on Qalandia Camp continued for several hours. During this time, a 39-year-old man was reportedly beaten by soldiers, subjected to pepper spray, and also required hospitalization due to the severity of his injuries.

In addition to these incidents, the raid involved the firing of tear gas canisters by Israeli soldiers, leading to the blockade of the camp's entrance and a complete obstruction of vehicle movement. This resulted in significant traffic congestion in the area, further complicating the situation for residents.

The Qalandia refugee camp is no stranger to Israeli raids, which often involve attacks on residents and the imposition of restrictive measures. These actions continue to exacerbate the daily hardships faced by the camp's inhabitants.
