Palestinian Man Injured in Colonists’ Attack in Jordan Valley

Gaza: A Palestinian was injured on Tuesday when colonists attacked him while he was grazing his livestock in Khirbet Ibziq in the northern Jordan Valley. The incident underscores ongoing tensions in the area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the settlement file official in Tubas governorate, Moataz Basharat, reported that settlers attacked a shepherd, resulting in an injury to his thigh. The injured man required hospital treatment due to the severity of his injury.

Shepherds in the northern Jordan Valley face continuous violations by armed colonists. These include physical assaults, being forced to leave their pastures, and attempts by colonists to steal their livestock, contributing to an atmosphere of fear and insecurity in the region.
