London: Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the UK, Husam Zomlot, welcomed the statement by the U.K. and 25 international partners calling for an immediate end to Israel's aggression on Gaza.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Ambassador Zomlot emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, 'The time for strongly worded statements has long passed. Israel will not stop this genocide unless compelled.' He expressed his views in a post on X, highlighting the need for decisive international action.
Zomlot outlined several measures he believes are necessary to compel Israel to cease its actions in Gaza. He called for a full arms embargo and comprehensive sanctions against Israel. Additionally, he stressed the importance of holding Israel accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity, as well as the immediate recognition of the State of Palestine.
