Gaza: Palestinian detainee Hatem Ismail Rayan, a paramedic from the Gaza Strip, has died in Israeli detention, as reported by the Civil Affairs Authority to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS).
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Rayan had been held at the Israeli Negev detention center since his detention on December 27, 2024. He was apprehended at Kamal Adwan Hospital, where he was with his injured son, Muath, who remains in detention.
