Palestinian Death Toll Reaches 64,368 After New Casualties

Gaza: At least 87 Palestinians were killed and 409 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over 24 hours, medical sources said.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA: Local health authorities confirmed the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 64,368 fatalities, with 162,776 people sustaining injuries. Authorities said the majority of victims are women and children.

Hospitals recorded five deaths from starvation and malnutrition in 24 hours, raising the total number of starvation-related fatalities to 387, including 138 children, the report said.

Health authorities said emergency services remain unable to reach many casualties and bodies trapped under rubble or on roads across the enclave. The authorities said Israeli forces continue to target ambulance crews and civil defense crews.

The report said the assault on Gaza has continued despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for a ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and to address the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
