Rahat:A Palestinian citizen of Israel was killed and two others were injured in a shooting incident on Monday evening in Rahat, a city situated in the Negev region within the 1948 territories.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, this incident has increased the death toll from violent crime within Palestinian society in the 1948 territories to 176 since the start of the year. The rising number of fatalities includes both men and women and has led to ongoing criticism of the Israeli police and government for their perceived failure to address the proliferation of firearms, tackle organized crime effectively, and hold those responsible accountable.
