Jenin: A Palestinian citizen was shot and killed this morning by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the town of Meithalun, south of Jenin, the occupied West Bank. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that a large number of Israeli occupation soldiers stormed Meithalun and surrounded the home of Hassan Ali Hassan Rabay'a, 37. The forces opened heavy gunfire at the house, injuring Rabay'a. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that Israeli forces prevented its medical teams from reaching the wounded man inside the besieged house. He was detained by the Israeli forces before being announced dead of his injuries later. Rabay'a was the father of 15-year-old Ali Rabay'a, who was killed by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on Meithalun in July of last year. In addition to the killing, local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces seized a vehicle during the raid on the town.
