Palestinian Child Injured by Rubber-Coated Metal Bullets in Jenin-Area Confrontations

Jenin: A Palestinian child was injured on Tuesday by a rubber-coated metal bullet during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the city of Jenin.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews transported a 12-year-old boy who was injured in the chest and transferred him to the hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred as Israeli occupation forces conducted a raid on the city of Jenin. The forces targeted several money exchange offices and detained two young men during their operations. In addition to the use of rubber-coated metal bullets, the forces also fired tear gas and sound bombs, exacerbating tensions in the area.

The situation in Jenin remains tense as confrontations between local residents and the Israeli forces continue. The PRCS has been actively involved in providing medical assistance to those affected during these events.
