Palestinian Child Critically Wounded by Israeli Gunfire in Qalqilia

Qalqilia: A Palestinian child was critically wounded on Thursday afternoon by Israeli gunfire in Qalqilya.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that a 12-year-old boy sustained a critical head injury from Israeli gunfire while near the northern checkpoint. He was subsequently transferred to a hospital for urgent treatment.

Israeli forces had stormed the city earlier, deploying throughout several neighborhoods, particularly Kafr Saba, and firing live ammunition and rubber-coated bullets.

Since the early hours of the morning, Israeli troops have continued their incursions into the city, carrying out massive raids and searches of homes across several parts of the city.
