Post: Palestinian-American Bridge Foundation Provides Critical Heart Stents to Gaza

Gaza city: The Palestinian-American Bridge Foundation (PAB), in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), has successfully delivered 120 heart stents to the Gaza Strip for the first time. This significant initiative is set to enhance the capacity of health facilities in Gaza to provide urgent cardiac care services to those in need.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the stents and accompanying medical equipment were handed over to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society at Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City. These critical supplies will support cardiac catheterization procedures for patients who require urgent medical intervention, addressing a crucial need in the region.

The handover ceremony was attended by key figures, including PAB Director Ihab Sweidan and Project Coordinator Mohammed Harara. They were received by Palestinian Red Crescent Society Director Haider Al-Qudra and Al-Quds Hospital Director Anwar Al-Gharra, underscoring the collaborative effort in enhancing healthcare services in Gaza.

The Foundation emphasized that this donation is part of its ongoing commitment to bolstering the Palestinian health system. By providing these heart stents, the Foundation aims to strengthen the system's ability to respond to increasing medical needs amidst the challenging humanitarian conditions faced by the region.
