Post: Palestine Wins Three Gold Medals at Muay Thai World Championships

Kuala lumpur: The Palestinian national Muay Thai team achieved remarkable success by securing three gold medals at the Men's Muay Thai World Championship and the inaugural School Muay Thai World Championship.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Palestinian athletes Ibrahim Jamous, Mousa Mustafa, and Vivian Alais emerged victorious in the inaugural School Muay Thai World Championship, while Amir Al-Amleh added to the medal tally with a bronze in the men's elite 63.5 kg category. The championships took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from June 16 to 26, drawing participants from over 80 countries.

The Palestinian delegation, led by Palestinian Muay Thai Federation President Shaker Al-Shrouf, included Technical Director Ahmad Abu Dukhan and national team coach Fadi Mustafa. The team comprised athletes Fadi Mustafa, Mousa Mustafa, Ibrahim Jammous, Vivian Alais, Adel Khalil, Ahmad Abu Qalbeen, Amir Al-Amleh, and Ahmad Hilal.

In a historic moment, Palestinian international referee Sabreen Allan participated as part of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) refereeing team, marking the first time a Palestinian female referee officiated at an IFMA world championship.

Palestine's Ambassador to Malaysia, Jihad Al-Qudra, applauded the achievements of the Palestinian youth and men's Muay Thai team at a reception in Kuala Lumpur. He commended the athletes for their determination and ability to excel on the international stage.
