Post: Palestine Extends Condolences to India Over Ahmedabad Plane Crash

Ahmedabad: The Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry of Palestine extended condolences to India on Thursday evening following the tragic crash of an Air India flight in Ahmedabad. The crash resulted in the loss of over 240 passengers' lives.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Ministry issued a press release affirming Palestine's solidarity with the Republic of India. It expressed deepest condolences to the families of the victims, the Indian government and its citizens, as well as to the other nations whose nationals perished in the crash.

The Air India flight was carrying 169 Indian nationals, 53 British nationals, seven Portuguese nationals, and one Canadian national. The Ahmedabad police commissioner reported that there appeared to be no survivors from Flight 171, which was en route from Ahmedabad to London. Police have confirmed that the bodies of more than 200 victims have been transported to local hospitals.
